The Ministry of Agriculture, Fishery and Forestry (MAFF), in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Handicrafts (MoIH), and supported by UN-ESCAP and iBAN, organized an Inclusive Business workshop for agribusinesses in Forum. The event was held on 6 August 2019.

The workshop provided an overview of the international IB discussion, gave summary results of the IB landscape study for Cambodia, and shared IB cases in agribusiness through a business panel. It made recommendation for promoting inclusive agrobusinesses as part of the proposed government strategy for a better enabling environment for Inclusive Business in Cambodia (the IBeeC strategy).

The event was attended by 40 participants from businesses and their associations, government, IB facilitators and development partners in the sector. More information on the IB agribusiness workshop can be found attached.

The workshop was supported by the United Nations Economic Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP) and the Inclusive Business Action Network (iBAN), a global program implemented by GIZ and financed by the Government of Germany and the European Commission.
