On 8 May 2025, Lork Chumteav Prak Khonndanie Hem Vanndy brought a total of 90 million riels in voluntary contributions of which 40 million riels are donated by the Minister and Lok Chumteav and 50 million riels donated by the leaders, civil servants and various units of the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation to donate to the Cambodian Red Cross. The donation was made on the occasion of the 162nd anniversary of World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day and the 70th anniversary of the Cambodian Red Cross (CRC), under the theme: “Together, volunteer for a healthy and climate-resilient community.”

The event was presided over by Lork Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, Permanent Vice President of the Cambodian Red Cross, at the CRC Headquarters.
