Notification on the Conditions and Procedures for Registering Self-employed Individuals (informal economy workers) in the National Social Security Fund

In reference to Sub-Decree No. 289ANKr.BK dated December 14, 2024, regarding the Registration of Informal Economy Workers, the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training is pleased to inform the public that, effective January 22, 2025, the registration of self-employed individuals will be subject to the following conditions:

• Be not over 60 years of age.
• Possess a valid Khmer ID card.
• Have a Certificate of Informal Economy Onboarding issued by the Coordinating Committee on Informal Economy Development at the One-Window Office of municipal/district/Khan administration.

The National Social Security Fund sincerely hopes that the public will participate in adhering to this notification with a high sense of responsibility.
